Responsibilities:

• Ensure  the accuracy of financial records and transactions according to accounting principles and regulations
• Lead, mentored, and managed the accounts department team to ensure productivity 
• Manage the organization’s cash flow and oversee bank transactions, including transfers, deposits, and withdrawals and reconciling bank accounts regularly
• Prepare and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations and also participating in internal audits to assess financial procedures and compliance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Oversee the recovery of outstanding debts and timely collection
• Manage and process claims efficiently
• Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
• Monitor market trends and industry developments impacting the company’s financial position
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives
• Optimize banking relationships and implement efficient treasury management practices

Job Specifications:

• Proven experience in senior Accounting and Finance roles, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills, including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution to lead and manage a team effectively.
