Job Description
- Collaborating with producers, directors, and other team members to plan and execute video projects, ensuring that they meet the creative vision and goals.
- Overseeing and managing a team of video editors and other creative staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure that the quality and style of the videos align with the project objectives
and brand guidelines - Reviewing and editing raw footage to create a polished final product that meets high standards
for storytelling, pacing, and visuals - Working with the post-production team to ensure that sound design, music, and other audio elements enhance the overall video experience
- Using specialized software tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer to edit and assemble video content
- Collaborating with other creative teams, such as motion graphics artists, to add visual effects, animations, and other enhancements to the videos
- Managing and organizing video assets and files, and ensuring that they are easily accessible by
other team members - Ensuring that all videos are delivered on time and meet the technical requirements of the intended distribution channels, such as social media, television, or cinema
- Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, equipment, and trends, and sharing this knowledge with the team to improve the quality and efficiency of video production
- Communicating and coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure that video projects meet their expectations and are aligned with their business
