Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the resort, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction are met and address any guest complaints or concerns
- Supervise and manage the resort staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Maintain the physical property, including routine maintenance and repairs, to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- Manage the resort’s budget and ensure that financial goals are met
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement programs to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with other departments to create special events and promotions for guests
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local businesses and the community organizations
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Resident Manager or Assistant General
- Manager in a hotel or resort
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and superiors
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for hotels and resorts
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and property management software
