Job Description

  • Windows server administration, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • DNS and DHCP configuration and deployment.
  • Active Directory setup and deployment.
  • Linux server administration, ensuring reliable and secure server operations.
  • Virtualization using Hyper-V, including configuration, management, and deployment.
  • Mikrotik router configuration, hotspot setup, and Radius authentication.
  • Free-radius configuration and deployment.
  • Radius server setup and AAA server setup to work with Mikrotik hotspot.
  • Installation, configuration, and deployment of the Koha system.
  • Backup of systems and MySQL database backup and restoration.
  • Website hosting and deployment.
  • Bandwidth management and queue management of internal network resources.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures on Network Programming topics to students.
  • Taking regular classes on the schedule.
  • Instructing classes following the curriculum and guidelines set by Tribhuvan University.
  • Conducting unit tests, monthly tests, and other evaluations.
  • Assigning homework and projects by aligning co-curricular activities.
  • Preparing exam questions and evaluating answer sheets.
  • Bearing overall responsibility for the student’s performance in the subject.
  • Collaborating with other faculty members and participating in departmental activities.

Jobs Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent / IT Qualifications.
  • A Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience in the field of network or server configuration.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Network Programming concepts, protocols, and technologies.
  • Previous teaching experience or experience in conducting technical training sessions will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Commitment to student success and the ability to provide effective academic support.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard practices and protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
