Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth — particularly in automotive, industrial, and mechanical segments. Use insights to inform marketing strategy.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns tailored for lubricant and grease products (e.g., promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, product launches, trade shows).
- Maintain and promote the Fujima brand identity. Ensure consistency across all marketing materials, advertisements, packaging (if relevant), and communications.
- Manage online and offline marketing channels — social media, website (if relevant), print media, dealer communications, B2B outreach, etc. Create and manage marketing collateral: brochures, banners, adverts, technical-leaflets, etc.
- Work closely with dealers, workshops, distributors, and industrial clients — maintain relationships, understand their needs, support product promotions, gather feedback, offer after-sales support if required (e.g., lubricant recommendations, product demonstrations, or technical support). This helps drive product adoption and client retention. (Typical for lubricant-industry marketing roles.)
- Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to align marketing and sales efforts, coordinate product launches, promotions, inventory/stock visibility, and monitor market coverage and sales performance.
- Organize and attend trade-shows, exhibitions, product-launch events, dealer meets, road shows, or workshops to promote lubricants and to raise brand awareness.
- Track and evaluate performance of marketing campaigns, collect feedback from clients/distributors, analyze results (e.g., increase in sales, market penetration, brand recall), and prepare periodic reports for management. Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Identify new market segments (industrial, automotive, two-wheeler, workshops), explore potential for new lubricant/grease variants, assist in positioning and pricing strategy, and support product portfolio planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical / Chemical Engineering, or related field) — for the lubricant business, technical understanding is a plus. (Many lubricant company marketing roles ask for an engineering or technical background)
- Preferably 2–5 years of experience in marketing, ideally in lubricants / automotive/industrial products, or B2B marketing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relations with dealers, distributors, clients, and internal teams.
- Knowledge/interest in lubricants, greases, automotive/industrial products — ability to understand technical specifications and communicate product value.
- Competence in digital marketing tools and MS Office; ability to create marketing content, manage social media or digital channels (if the company uses them), or coordinate with external agencies.
- Analytical mindset: ability to analyze market data, campaign performance, sales trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, production, and distribution teams; flexibility to travel for field visits, dealer interactions, and inspections. (Common in lubricant distribution roles.)
