Job Description

  • Assist with hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Facilitate the smooth integration of new hires into the college by providing orientation sessions and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in the management of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Help develop and implement HR policies in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances and provide initial guidance or escalate matters as needed
  • Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives for college staff.
  • Assist with payroll processing, tracks attendance, and addresses payroll-related inquiries.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as recruitment, turnover, and training, to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department, such as managing correspondence and scheduling meetings.
  • Perform any other task(s) as assigned by the supervisor without limiting to the above-mentioned tasks, but which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
