- Assist with hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Facilitate the smooth integration of new hires into the college by providing orientation sessions and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in the management of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
- Help develop and implement HR policies in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances and provide initial guidance or escalate matters as needed
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives for college staff.
- Assist with payroll processing, tracks attendance, and addresses payroll-related inquiries.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as recruitment, turnover, and training, to analyze data and support decision-making.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department, such as managing correspondence and scheduling meetings.
- Perform any other task(s) as assigned by the supervisor without limiting to the above-mentioned tasks, but which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
