Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Support:
- Enter purchase bills and invoices in ERP.
- Record local expenses, including transport, labor, and utilities.
- Handle petty cash and prepare daily cash summaries.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices and vouchers.
- Assist the Accounts Head during audits and VAT preparation.
- Support in preparing stock valuation data.
Store Management:
- Maintain daily stock entries in the system.
- Record raw material receipts (GRN entries) and material issues to production.
- Record finished goods receipts from production.
- Maintain stock registers and assist in monthly physical stock verification.
- Report stock variances to the Inventory Manager.
- Manage gate passes and dispatch documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Atleast 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
- Understanding of VAT, billing, and documentation processes is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record maintenance
- Ability to handle petty cash and maintain financial discipline
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management processes
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in coordination with accounts, inventory, and production teams
- Honest, responsible, and willing to learn
