Accountant

Job Summary

Base Footwear Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The candidate will be responsible for internal accounting operations, inventory records, VAT filing, and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage internal accounting records of the company.

• Record and process wages/salary entries accurately.

• Maintain inventory records and coordinate with the store/production department to ensure proper stock tracking.

• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with government regulations.

• Handle billing and invoice preparation for customers and internal records.

• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.

• Assist management in preparing financial reports when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

• Good knowledge of VAT filing and accounting procedures in Nepal.

• Experience in inventory accounting and billing processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
